Rabbit is a common game for twosomes and threesomes. It basically divides the 18 holes into 6 3-hole matches. For a player to win a 3-hole match, he/she must get two legs by winning 2 out of 3 holes. If one of the players does not win 2 out of three, the "rabbit is running", and the match is carried over to the next three holes, and so on until all eighteen are played. It is possible for a entire game of rabbit to be played without a winner.
